{"id":89,"date":"2011-08-21T22:11:03","date_gmt":"2011-08-22T03:11:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pavelshub.com\/blog\/?p=89"},"modified":"2011-08-21T22:11:03","modified_gmt":"2011-08-22T03:11:03","slug":"installing-firetray-in-thunderbird-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pavelshub.com\/blog\/2011\/08\/installing-firetray-in-thunderbird-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Installing Firetray in Thunderbird 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After installing Mozilla Thunderbird 6 I quickly discovered that one of my favorite add-ons was no longer working. <a title=\"Firetray\" href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/thunderbird\/addon\/firetray\/\">Firetray<\/a> is listed as incompatible with Thunderbird 6 but after <a href=\"http:\/\/fedoraworkbook.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/compiling-firetray-add-on-for.html\">searching around<\/a> I discovered that it worked for some people after they compiled it from source.<\/p>\n<p>Searching around in the build files revealed that the add-on needs a version bump to properly install. Once I changed the max version number and compiled the add-on it worked flawlessly!<\/p>\n<p>You can <a title=\"Firetray for Thunderbird 6\" href=\"http:\/\/pavelshub.com\/files\/firetray-0.3.1-src-build.xpi\">download<\/a> my x86_64 build or follow the steps below to compile it on your PC. The patch file (in the steps below) will bump up the version number.
